Gearing up for the 2nd Annual Windows of Youth Project!

Windows of Youth Project 2104

It is time for the 2nd annual Windows of Youth Project.  Windows of Youth is a community art project that involves young artists taking reclaimed glass and turning it into works of art.  Over 40 high school students from the Missoula area will be participating.

The pieces will be displayed at The Loft during the month of May and sold in a silent auction the evening of Friday, May 30th, at the Loft and the Downtown Dance Collective.  All proceeds benefit youth in care at Youth Homes, an organization working to 'help every child find security, a sense of belonging and a place to call home.'

We are very excited to announce that we have the addition of Benefactors to the project this year. We would like to extend a very warm and sincere thank you to our first benefactors:
Randy and Theresa Cox
Diane Dawson
Olsen and Peters Family Dental

Olsen and Peters Family Dental is proud to support our Missoula Community.  Please visit their website at missoulafamilydental.com

Home Resources, Inc. has also generously offered to partner with us again this year by providing much of the materials to be used in the art pieces. Visit their website at http://www.homeresource.org/ or "Like" them on Facebook.

The students have been busy working on their pieces for the auction and we have our first images of some of the works in progress from Hellgate High School.

It is going to be an exciting year, so stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!
